Everton fans react as Jamie Carragher mocks them after Liverpool FA Cup draw

Former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher took to his official Twitter account to give his reaction the Reds drawing arch-rivals Everton at home in the third round of the FA Cup, and Toffees fans were quick to hit back at the 39-year-old.

Carragher said that he was looking forward to messing the Blue side of Merseyside’s Christmas and New Year up, with a Premier League meeting this coming weekend being followed by the cup tie in early January.

Even though the former England centre-back has been reported to be an Everton fan in the past, it certainly doesn’t seem to be something that he is willing to admit in public if his latest social media post is anything to go by.

Everton supporters took to social media to hit back at Carragher’s comments, and while one said “once a blue, always a blue”, another said “what comes around goes around”.
